Repairs/Services

Repairs & upgrades:
Diagnosis:  We operate a no-fix, no-fee, policy.  We will examine the machine, then give you an estimate and our recommendation.  If we are unable to carry out the work within your budget, there is no charge and no obligation!

Installation:  Wherever purchased, we only make a small charge to install additional or replacement parts.
£15.00 (single item)
£10.00 (per additional item)

Formatting / Windows re-loads:
In extreme cases you may have to have your hard drive re-formatted and the Windows operating system re-installed.
£35.00 with hardware driver discs.
£45.00 if you don't have the driver discs.
(We can ONLY install licensed software!  If yours is  unlicensed, we can provide an official version at cost.)

PC health checks:
We strongly suggest setting aside a budget to have your PC checked and serviced at least twice a year, especially if you use the internet frequently, or download music and films.

Every PC Health Check includes;

• Virus and spyware removal
• Operating system optimisation
• Hard drive cleaning & tidying
• Internal valet
• Performance check and report

 

PC health check insurance:
Home
Rather than pay £35 every six month to keep your machine clean and working well, you can pay a small monthly fee by standing order and have your PC's health check scheduled at a time to suit you cleaned remotely at £4.99 per month.

Business
If you run a business, you should have your PCs cleaned more frequently; at least every 3 months.  We offer the same monthly payment plan with;

• Quarterly health checks
• Overnight service
• Record of workstation details
• Performance and usage report
• Optional data back-up

from £9.99 per month, per PC.

Home network set-up:
If you are struggling with your broadband or home network, why not avoid the stress and have us set-up the system for you?  Most set-ups will take around one hour (make sure you have the user name and password supplied by your service provider), but if we are unable to complete the process for any reason we will return to complete the job at our cost!
£45.00 fixed charge.
